Made a huge mess!!!!!! - Reviewed on 2008-09-10

I purchased this for my daughters wedding reception. It was all set up and the punch was added and when the caterer turned on the switch it made an awful noise and punch started draing out of the bottom of the bowl through the motor. It was a horrible mess and ruined a white tablecloth. Since I bought this piece of garbage on line I'm sure there is no return policy so I'm out $40.00. Don't bother buying one of these.

the nostalgia lighted party fountain is not user friendly.there are no serviceable parts, the lights in the bottom compare to Christmas lights,
if they burnt out you can not change them. Mine came with one of the lights burnt out. How ever if working right, it could be fun. But for the money
its basically use and throw away.

If you ever thought of renting a drink fountain for a party, you should forget that and buy one of these - it is much cheaper than renting and you'll have it for more parties to come. It is easy to set up, sturdy, easy to store. We added ice to the upper shelf, which wasn't wise, it put too much pressure in the spouts, which caused the drink to spray beyond the bottom bowl. This was simple and quick to fix, just remove the directional spouts and it poured straight down. Great party addition.

I purchased this as a gift, for a person that would borrow one from there friend every party they had. This party fountain was bigger and very nice looking. She was very surprised and happy with the product. When you have an item like this for a party you get nothing but complements and it truly adds a lot to the party. This Item is quility made just over all a great purchase. And the price was reasonable.
