ST ANDREW'S - THE OLD COURSE One of a limited edition of 100. The records reveal that the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews was established in 1754 by the Gentlemen of the Kingdom of Fife "being admired of the Ancient and healthy exercise of Golf". This extraordinary hand-crafted model skilfully captures all of the architectural detail of this Landmark building. From the elegant facade to the intricate wrought iron scroll work of the balcony each detail is captured in miniature using traditional building materials. The windows of the Limited Edition, which numbers just 100, are pierced through to enhance the depth and impact. This is one of a series of fine Architectural models made by world-renowned artist, Timothy Richards. These models are made with plaster and other traditional construction materials including lead, acid-etched brass, glass, copper and gold leaf. Each model is individually hand-made in Timothy's studio and workshop in Bath in England.
