The darts we received are 18 grams. Would have preferred a couple of grams lighter, perhaps, but there doesn't seem to be any choice in the matter. The darts themselves throw well and are attractive. Coated brass barrels do not have the crosshatched grip pattern commonly seen, but there is variation in diameter at various points which takes the place of the grip pattern in your hand, but causes less wear-and-tear on the fingers over the course of an evening's throwing, getting them back out of the board. Very good value, a step up from the darts which came with our electronic board.

Make sure that you need such a heavy dart. Causes damage even with a soft tip.

I like the way these darts feel and they are weighty enough not to just "bounce" off of the dartboard. I plan to buy another set soon.

I ordered this without knowing exactly the gram weight of the darts I was going to get. I received a 15 gram set, and it was exactly what was pictured and another quality Halex product.
