Editorial Reviews and Product Descriptions

Product Description

As a computer navigation tool, the mouse has no peer in its simplicity and ease-of-use, but no matter how good something is, there's always room for improvement. Lasers, rather than a physical ball or optics, achieves pinpoint accuracy, giving you the finesse you need in fast-paced gaming, detailed photo manipulation and more. The scroll wheel has a tilt feature to make side-to-side scrolling just as easy as standard vertical scrolling. To read the fine print and see the intricacies of a digital photo, the Magnifier button is incredibly useful, acting like a magnifying glass held up to your monitor. 5 Customizable Buttons PC & Mac Compatible PC Operating System Requirements - Windows Vista, Windows XP, or Windows 2000 SP4 or higher Mac Operating System Requirements - Mac OS X v10.2-10.4.x (excluding Mac OS X v10.0-10.1) Requires a USB port for wireless transmitter

I purchased this mouse for myself and was very impressed with the magnifying feature. With one click, your pointer turns into a magnifying glass which can be increased to cover most of the computer screen. I was so impressed that I purchased another one for my sister who has vision problems. The mouse was very easy for her to install, and I look forward to my sister having fun again when she uses her computer.

I just love my new cordless mouse!! It feels so comfortable in my hand, and is definitely "ergonomically correct." I would definitely recommend it to anyone who works at their computer all day long as I do! I especially appreciate the "magnifier" button for small print. I love Amazon -- they always have the best quality products and excellent customer service.
Sore Hand and Forearm - Reviewed on 2008-10-05

The ergonomic component of this mouse is missing. Perhaps it was designed by a Pliedian or a Gray. The mouse works fine but not with the hand that has to hold it. And it's not just one ergonomic issue, there is a list. I thought I might try to get used to it but instead this mouse is causing me physical pain. I am very disappointed. Make sure you can take yours back if you want to gamble on this item.
Nice mouse, but a bit misleading - Reviewed on 2008-10-02

The mouse fits nicely in the palm of the hand, but I bought it for use with my laptop and the USB connector is too big. The USB adapter is attached to a cord with a wireless signal receiver about the half the size of the mouse. This would be fine with a PC, but ease of portability is essential for a laptop.
All of this would have been fine had I known about the connector. The misleading aspect is that because none of the pictures show a large computer hook-up, I was assuming a small USB connector would be included. Consider portability when looking at this mouse.
A mouse with good and bad points. - Reviewed on 2008-10-01

I like the feel of the mouse and the multiple configurations from the software. I originally thought the smooth wheel would be a good feature. I don't know if I like it as well as the wheel with detents. It takes some time to get used to it. I had to disable the right side button. For me it's too easy to accidentally click. The sending unit is as big as a normal mouse. I tried to mount it under my wood desk about 24" away. The mouse would require multiple clicks to respond. I moved it on top of the desk under the monitor. Now it's very responsive at 16". I haven't used the tilt wheel much because I forget it's available. Old habits die hard.
