If you like using loose tea as I do you will surely wish that this little teapot had strainer holes at the base of the spout. Not only do I have to pour my brew through a tea strainer perched over my mug but also must keep poking the steeped leaves down and out of the spout (a chopstick works well). If you use teabags all will be well. I use two level measuring teaspoons of Stash Premium Organic Pinhead Gunpowder Green Tea, Loose Leaf, 3.5-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 3) and fill the pot with distilled water. I then put the pot in the microwave to brew and it's great having the hot tea in the hot pot which keeps the tea warm all the way through two large mugs. Cow's milk eliminates the antioxidant effects of green tea so soy milk is best in this case.
