The Garfield was a great show that I never saw as a child because no one carried it. So seeing it on DVD was a real treat and it is a must see for any Garfield fan.

This set has the new opening and some of the funniest clips and songs. There is only but one thing I hate about this season is Sweet Tweet Treat, the first episode to show the little crow and his overprotective father. That is the only episode out of the entire set that isnt funny, if you want comedy try the other episodes. When I got this set, I was happy to finally be able to see these episodes, they were new to me. Some of the funniest scenes were with Jon Arbuckle as usual, either he was trying out to become a barbarian or needing a vacation from his senses. The magic of Garfield is still around to make us laugh, some of the jokes are childish but when it's everybody's favorite lasagna loving feline, no one cares.

My son and I love watching these old cartoons together. We watch a couple episodes at night; it's a fun way to bond. We can't wait to get the next season!
