This box set packs two Coppertail cook's knife/vegetable chopper knives. The first has a 5-inch blade for handling smaller fare, such as halving cherry tomatoes or slicing mushrooms. The longer 7-inch blade is ideal for bigger jobs, such as chiffonading spinach or slicing large tomatoes. Knives are made of a single piece of high-carbon Japanese stainless-steel alloy so there are no gaps where food particles can get caught and no plastic pieces or rivets that can potentially fall off over time. The strength of this steel allows for an extremely sharp cutting edge that requires minimal maintenance to keep its sharpness.

The ergonomically shaped handles on this cutlery feel lightweight yet properly balanced and provide a comfortable grip through hours of cooking. Handles are curved but have wedge-shaped angles on the top and bottom to reduce the amount of squeezing and hand strain and to prevent slipping when hands are wet or oily.
