High quality architectural speaker cable made for home and office sound systems. UL approved CMR or CL3R rating makes it acceptable for most building and electrical codes. Gray PVC jacket with color coded S-R PVC (red, black) stranded wires. 14 gauge wire consists of 19 x .0147 gauge strands of ASTM B-3, B-8, and B-286 copper. Maximum voltage rated 300V. Sequential footage markers to facilitate installation. Suitable for use from -20 deg C to +75 deg C. Meets NEC article 725 and 800 rating as well as California state fire marshall approval. Includes ripcord for quick jacket removal. Manufacturer model number E1052S Made in USA. 100 ft hank.

I needed some of this to run through my walls, and it works just fine. It's the best price I could find on 14 AWG CL3R, and it's just as advertised. No problems, no complaints.

I have used Carol speaker cable throughout my house. it is top quality. I would not put cheap wire through my walls. Much cheaper than the M* cable and just as good.

I bought this speaker wire thinking that it wouldn't be that bad. But the cable is very cheaply made. The outer jacket is made of thin cheap plastic, and the insulation covering the wire itself was just as thin. and each strand of the wire itself was pretty thick. Overall avoid buying this item. Parts express had excellent customer service and refunded my money right away. In the future if i find something i need, i will buy through part express!
