Customer Reviews
This watch was a good value - Reviewed on 2008-05-15
Overall, if I was searching for a woman's watch again, I would likely purchase this watch again. This watch was a good value.
Details: I purchased this watch for my wife's birthday. Being a man, I, of course, waited until just before her birthday before ordering it. I received the watch within the committed deliver time (two days). No issues there.
The watch itself is quite elegant; the pictures on the Amazon site do a good job showing what you'll get. My wife liked it. (This was the overriding goal here.)
The band is one of those clasp-style bands that is a fixed length. It, as expected, required resizing to fit my wife's wrist correctly. That was a bit of a challenge, but a paper clip and a pair of pliers (to hold the paper clip, not the watch) took care of that in short order (look for the little arrows stamped in the links on the band for the removable links). The alternative, of course, to take it to a jeweler.
The one demerit is that the watch doesn't have a built-in light, a la the Timex Indiglo technology, so telling the time in a theatre (for example) is a bit difficult.
