Villa Paletti is a classic game that will never go out of style. It teaches you the basics of physics, tests your nerves and can be enjoyed by young or old. Most of the people with whom I've played are over 40 and we enjoy this game.

I ordered this (actually cheaper at Drugstore.com!) for my preteen and teen children to play. There wasn't much interest on Christmas morning between all the other gifts, but once the novelty wore off from all the high tech gifts a few days later, I challenged the kids to a game. It's a lot of fun and is different because you can't really sit around a table to play. Everybody is up on their feet looking at the tower from all angles to move their column. I was the loser 3 times in a row, and I didn't do it intentionally like a parent would for younger children! It was a lot of fun, and for parents with younger children it would be pretty educational to teach balance and physics principals. Guess I had better get a grasp on them myself!

We played Villa Paletti as a family when I visited them in Canada for Thanksgiving. What a great game! It has the coolest colors and neatest shapes. Everyone was standing moving around the table with lots of laughter. The best part was beating my husband, tee hee. Villa Palett Rocks!!!

THis game spanks Jenga. Much deeper strategy in which pieces you move when and where to place them once you do. This game even has a mess up the ohter players component. This is truly a wonderful game that can be dumbed down for younger kids if needs be. Great buy anywhere you can get it.
Villa Paletti - SF Chronicle - Best Christmas Game 2004 - Reviewed on 2005-04-20

Villa Paletti was so much fun, it made sense it was picked by the san francisco chronicle as the best game for Christmas 2004. It's like Jenga on a runners high, you feel great playing it, even though sometimes you have to catch your breath after removing a column. We had a good mixture of ages and all enjoyed it.
