The movie is funny at first but then things take a sudden twist.... without giving the plot away it is MUST SEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent Indy Film. Well made, engrossing and interesting; an especially good character study!

I picked this one up randomly at the video store one day, noticing the Sundance Selection logo on its cover. Can't go wrong with a Sundance film! This film has what seems like a simple story at first, but a story that keeps you wanting more. It's pace is steady, if even a bit slow, but that is it's beauty. One needs to slow down and take their time to enjoy the many uncomfortable and private moments of the main character, Ace, impeccably and richly played by the late, great Noble Willingham.

If you like surprises, different than standard Hollywood might deliver, you'll like this film. The writing, directing and acting are absolutely top-notch.

As the story builds we cleary see Ace's frustration and apathy with life. The camera shots are so graphic we can almost pick up Ace's body odor, popping veins, sweat beads and all. Plus, it's full of such unique one-liners ... pretty funny ones ... like the one above "you got a rubber neck?"

Rent or buy this ... it's a fine film for quirky people bored with the status quo.

IF THE CORNDOG MAN COMES CALLING, INSANITY IS SURE TO FOLLOW. THIS WAS A GREAT MOVIE WHICH SEEMS FUNNY AT FIRST AND THEN BECOMES A GRIPPING TALE OF REVENGE ALA CORNDOG SERVED UP WITH A SIMPLE DEVICE KNOWN AS THE TELEPHONE.

This is the best movie ever. It is a must-see for the entire world. I must love to fall off the couch because I do every time I watch this movie. I can't help but laugh hysterically. If I had the option to own only one movie during my lifetime, it would be this one.

I took a chance on this a while back in Blockbuster. It is awesome. I love it. I rarely watch a movie twice, much less buy movies, but I just had to have a copy of this so I could watch it time again and show it to all my friends when I start talking about it. I love it!
