Bionic Gardening gloves - Reviewed on 2008-06-19

This is my second pair of Bionics. They are great...so great my daughter makes off with them routinely!! So now she can keep the first pair and I have my own again. These gloves feel great on your hands, especially after they've gotten a bit wet or muddy and they begin to conform to YOUR hand, then they are "to die for."
Very disappointing -- very poor value - Reviewed on 2007-07-10

We bought the Women's Bionic Gardening Gloves for my wife and her sisters, because they all suffer from arthritis, but want to continue gardening. For the sister who spends most time gardening, we bought the company's Heavy Duty Pro glove. Both products cost more than twice the price of the best leather gloves they've used in the past. The Heavy Duty Pro glove was more durable than the regular gardening glove, but was actually less comfortable for an arthritis sufferer than an ordinary suede work glove. The Bionic Gardening Gloves were very comfortable, but completely useless as gardening gloves. My wife's sister's pair lasted six days before it had holes in nearly every finger. My wife's pair lasted less than two weeks, because she changed into sturdier gloves for most tasks. So, on average, a pair of these gloves cost almost $5/ day. A very poor value!

Gloves were comfortable as claimed, but in less than 2-hours of garden work holes had broken thru in three fingers.
Great protection for your hands! - Reviewed on 2007-05-07

I was skeptical of the claims that were made about these gloves. I'd read reviews in magazines and online and finally decided I was going to check them out for myself. I ordered them in a size Large, but when they arrived they didn't fit well, so I returned them and reordered them in an extra large. The day after they arrived I spent 2 hours in my garden weeding and trimming. I was amazed at how well these gloves protected my hands and also kept them from tiring out. I ended up spending 3 more hours helping my husband pour a concrete pad and used my gloves during that process. At the end of the day, after 5 hours of hard work, I was really pleased to realize these gloves had lived up to their claims.

One thing I'd change if I were the manufacturer . . . lengthen the gloves a bit so they come up the wrist a little more. Not as much as the rose gloves do, but enough so there is a little more protection there. Otherwise I'm thrilled with how these gloves work. They are, by far, the best pair of gardening gloves I've ever purchased!

I have arthritis in my hands. With these gloves, I can work in the garden much longer with less strain on my hands. They are well worth the price.
