Air Force Captain Ted Harduvel (Vincent Spano) was one of the best fighter pilots a country could hope for. Loyal hardworking eagle-eyed he knew enough to rely on the instruments in his plane to guide him safely home. Which is why when he died in a plane crash in Korea his wife Janet (Academy Award Nominee -- Best Actress 1991; Laura Dern) was astounded to discover that the Air Force had blamed his death on "pilot error." Working with his lawyer (Robert Loggia) she discovers that there was every possibility the instruments in the F-16 were at fault and the military had initiated a coverup. For Janet Harduvel her husband's good name is all she has left of him and she'll fight to preserve it. Good movie. Good acting. Story about a woman whose husband is in the military and lost his life in a plane crash which she finds suspicious. Against the odds, she investigates so that she will be able to find peace with his death. This movie is based on a true story and although it is sad, it is heartwarming because of the love that was shared between the husband and the wife. Good movie to watch if you need a good cry and/or need to be reminded of what really matters in your daily life.

This movie is based off actual accounts of a fighter pilot death due to wire chaffing, an on going problem in any man made thing. Not all the facts are presented in the movie (hollywood trys to over glorify movies with "military experts" who never served a day or lifed the life as a spouse.) Over all a good content, story flow, and for the time raised a few guestions. But also consider this, in the real deal no information is released to public till investagation is done and notification of next kin.

This is one of the best movies ever to come out. Not only does it restore the human faith in love, but how far a spouse will go to preserve the good name of their mate.

THIS MOVIE WILL MAKE YOU WONDER IF THE MILITARY CAN TRUELY BE SO STUPID. BUT THE FACT THAT IT IS BASED ON A TRUE STORY MAKES A MILITARY SPOUCE CRINGE WITH REAL TERROR. THE STORY OF THE STREANGTH THAT THIS WIFE HAS IN THE FACE OF THE BIGGEST BRICK WALL IN OUR COUNTRY, THE UNITED STATES MILITARY IS INSPIREING! IF WE COULD ALL BE SO STRONG IN THE FACE OF TRAGEDY. I TAKE MY HAT OFF TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED BRING THIS STORY IN THE OPEN. HIGHLY ENTERTAINING YET IT MAKES YOU THINK. GREAT STUFF.

A powerful combination of acting from Vincent Spano and Laura Dern.... Spano's performance was outstanding and incredibly charming.
