This sweet toy is my 4-year-old daughter's favorite. Her older brother likes Pokemon, so that does effects her. This is the first toy that she coos over, talks too, feeds, and puts to bed. We have even had three Birthday parties for this Picachu in the last two weeks where she makes a full spread in her toy kitchen. The Picachu talks saying various forms and combinations of its name, like "Pica-pica". They have managed to have it sound like it has emotions, like excited, or even sad. This toy does not have an attack sound like Thunder Picachu, but she does not mind. The toy turns off on it's own after five minutes of not being played with.

Okay, when I was 7 or 8 my uncle bought this for me for Christmas. The first time I saw it I was in love! It's cheeks glow and he moves his mouth and ears. You can either wait for a response or press the buttons on its hands. It acts like the real thing!
Plus, for sleeping with at night, you can turn it off, so you aren't alarmed by its talking.
A very cool toy for a kid anywhere between 5 and up!

it's me nicole again! here is my decision, PIKA PIKA PIKACHU!!! i just thought that it's WAY better to get a pikachu. (1) it's 8 inches and a luv cub is 12 inches - reason why it's good, it's smaller to carry around! (2) MUCH CHEAPER, why is that good? a luv cub could be 40 or 30 dollars, this is only 10! (3) the reviews - what about them? there seems to be no NEGATIVE reviews about this except for the guy who thought this was way too quiet, which i think is just stupid to complain about. besides, u don't wanna be annoying to ur parents just bcuz it's too loud. so it's ok that it's quiet. there seem to be more negative reviews about the luv cub. (4) isn't everyone sick to death of bears?! teddy bears, more teddybears, interactive bear dolls, now luv cubs! who wouldn't get tired of bears?! get something that actually is a unique creature that it's even cuter cuz it's not real and u have something that would make u feel as if the REAL Pikachu were with u. bears, u see them in zoos, circuses, teddy bears, i'm sick of bears! u can feel like he's the real pikachu. for example...if u like lilo and stitch like me, u might have wished that stitch was ur friend and that u'd even want an interactive stitch doll. but i couldn't find any. so i'm getting pikachu b-4 i lose him! u can see teddy bears ANYWHERE! hurry up, B-4 U LOSE UR CHANCE OF B-FRIENDING PIKACHU!!! i'll write another review when i get him. i think he'll arrive around next week.

P.S. maybe i'll even make him some shirts! i bet red will look cute on him! (:

hiya! i'm nicole! i really love pikachu even though i'm not much of a pokemon fan. i don't own this but i'm seriously thinking about it. bcuz i also am interested in getting a furreal friends luv cub. which also, sounds just 2 adorable. i think the cutest thing i've read from reviews about pikachu is the cute crying when u ignore him. but the luv cub hugs u, and u can feed it a bottle, and it makes sounds like giggling, cooing, sniffing, hiccups, burps, etc. now if there is somebody who owns these items, could u please tell me which u would suggest? bcuz i'm thinking more on the luv cub, but i'm still thinking of poor little pikachu without me. i REALLY WANNA KNOW what to get! they both just sound SOOO cute! if u write a review answering me about this please say something like 'to nicole' or something. cuz if i get pikachu i hope i won't want a luv cub instead, or if i get a luv cub, i feel a little like i'm abandoning one of the cutest creatures ever!
