Fun for kids, but rude - Reviewed on 2008-12-29

My daughter loves this toy, as she loves to pretend to drive, but we are really disappointed in what the toy says. The voice is bratty and gives bratty commands like "Fill me up now"....no please/thank you etc. Also, on one it says "Slow down little fellow", and given that I have a girl playing with it, that could get confusing...I would like for toys to think a little more about how we would like our children to act instead of trying to get them to be rude and demanding.
Keeps Mom and Kids Happy on Long Trips - Reviewed on 2008-12-20

I don't know what we would have done without this on our many long trips from the East Coast to the midwest ... the voices could be sweeter, the ABCs should recite the entire alphabet (hence the low marks for education), but with plenty to pull, turn, and press, it has been a winner with both my boys (now ages 1 and 3) -- probably most loved from about 9 mos to 2 yrs. We have gotten a TON of use out of this toy in the car (more than any other toy we've had).

We bought this after visiting friends who had one. My son, 6 months at the time - 8 months now, loved playing with it there so I had to hunt one down. I was looking for a toy with lots of bells and whistles that he could activate by himself and this fit the bill. My son had no trouble making everything on this toy work, including the on/off switch. It has a couple small cons but nothing significant enough to take off a star. It is loud but all his favorite toys seem to be. And it is too large to sit between baby's legs while playing so he frequently pushes away from him when he is trying to get at it. He does play with it on the floor but it works even better when he is in his highchair. It is also easily portable so we end up taking it along when we go visiting. I would definitely recommend this to others.
Very loud and obnoxious toy - Reviewed on 2008-10-10

Ugh, I don't care for this toy at all. I was looking for a driving toy and thought this one would be fun, but my son (9 months) and I both find it annoying. First, it's deafeningly loud, even on the quieter setting. Second, the sounds are far too startling and far too many -- I can see him getting distressed after only 30 seconds or so. Having quieter, shorter noises that are actually caused by some action on the child's part would be much more enjoyable and educational. Third, as several other reviewers noted, the phrases it says make it a great training toy if you want your kid to be a total brat. I don't ever want to hear "get outta the way!!" escape my son's lips in that awful, demanding tone. I only give it two stars because he seems to enjoy examining it with the sound OFF (which is its now permanent state).
My kids loved it! - Reviewed on 2008-10-06

My kids loved it. It sings abc's, says beep beep, B is for Bee, Red circle, the sphere shaped bar across the top, spins like you are at the casino and whatever pictures it lands on, it explains what it landed on.
The numbers, shapes, colors, abcs, animals.
It can teach the child a lot.
