As a dryer the Revlon dries very fast but as stylist, I would have perferred a 3/4 barrell. However, since most younger people like
over-sized barrells (this comes with a 1 inch and a 1 1/14), you will be much more pleased with this. Also, I would have like the option on
the stylist portion to turn off the air.

I'm on my third one of these. The question is why do I keep buying it? Well, the attachments are great, the hot and cool settings are perfect and (when it works) it does a great job styling my hard-to-style hair.

The first one I bought didn't work right out of the package and I returned it. The second one worked for about 4 months, then finally died while I was on vacation. The one I have now screams louder than any hair dryer you've ever heard, and after about three minutes you can see a bright flare-up inside the unit and the heating element is done for the day. It still blows cool air, but it would take about 20 minutes to do the other half of my head that isn't styled yet. A half-done head of hair doesn't really suit my sense of style.

Great product design, lousy innards. I'm off on a search to find one that actually works. If I'd bought a more expensive one off the bat, would I have actually saved? We'll see.

This product is seriously the best thing I ever bought for my hair. I have extremely thick, curly, unmanageable hair. This product helps tame my unmanageable hair and makes it look soft, smooth, and healthy. I like how it is a brush and dryer combined- no trying to juggle the round brush and separate hair dryer, and I can do it with one hand.

The only gripe I have with it is I can't figure out how to clean the barrel. Styling products tend to build up on the metal part, and it is kinda hard to clean since I don't think you can immerse it. But other than that, it's a great product and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

A Hot Air Brush will help in controlling the frizz. Using a flat iron afterwards makes a huge difference. I had to return this Hot air brush after two weeks because it no longer heated. The fellow at the store told me that they have had problems with this item. I purchased a different brand after the return.

I have tried several other hot-air brushes and this is by far the best, even compared to "high-end" ones. (I have not tried other hot air brushes by Revlon yet). I have very fragile hair: baby-fine, bleached blonde, and very frizz-prone (also quite long), but this has NOT damaged my hair. My hair is naturally kinky/wavy and I used to flat iron it everytime I wanted it straight, and then had to load it with products to control frizz. This product however makes my hair look like gorgeous, smooth silk, all by itself. I think the ions really do work to tame frizz because now I dont even have to use any more products except a light mist of hairspray. The brush does get very hot and loud on the high setting; but I have found that I get the same results leaving it on low until it is 95% dry, then putting it on high to finish. I love that it can create a subtle, sexy wave instead of completely straightening my hair as flat iron does. Definitely recommend!!!!!
