I purchased this item, along with several other items with which to play school, for my 7 year old granddaughter. She enjoyed many hours of fun playing schol over her summer vacation. More than worth the money!

Very cute set. My daughter loves it. She has trashed a lot of it, but that is just her. It has given many many hours of fun and we haved used the little maps quite a lot.

PRETEND AND PLAY SCHOOL IS FOR CHILDREN 3 AND UP AND MY 8 AND 10 YEAR OLD CHILDREN JUST LOVE IT! IT IS ONE OF THE FEW "TOYS" THEY PLAY WITH FOR A LONG TIME. IT FOLDS UP NICELY AND NEATLY AND CAN BE STORED OUT OF THE WAY. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN A STORE AND FOUND IT ON AMAZON AND JUST KNEW MY 8 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WOULD LOVE IT. IT ENCOURAGES ROLE-PLAYING ALONG WITH SHARING AND TAKING FAIR TURNS SO THAT EVERYONE GETS A CHANCE AT BEING THE TEACHER. THE POINTER IS WHAT MY DAUGHTER LIKES MOST AND THE SUPPLIES ARE COOL AND FUN AND NEATLY STORED IN THEIR OWN COMPARTMENTS. IT IS MADE OF HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS AND IS NOT SOMETHING THAT WILL RIP OR BREAK EASILY. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH IT!!

We sent this to our 4 year old granddaughter for her birthday. According to her dad (our son) she and her 7 year old brother started playing with it immediately and played non-stop for 3 hours. Our granddaughter said the pointer and calendar were just like the ones her teacher has. Her dad told us it was a great gift!

My daughter saw a school set in another catalog and wanted it for Christmas. I found this one which was cheaper and I liked that you could fold it all up in its own carrying case. My daughter loves it. She is 6 1/2 and in 1st grade which is probably prime "playing school" time. If you have a child that plays school anyway, this is a great toy for them. I like the colorful papers and that it is compact. You do need to buy your own wet erase markers but I read that on the other reviews and just bought them ahead of time before I gave it to her.
