I bought this thing for my 8 y/o niece. Both her and her older sister have a blast on it. I originally saw the Wave Cruiser in the pool of one of my customers, so I asked him about it. He said his kids loved it, so I bought it. I was surprised at how fast it moved, especially for an inflatable pool toy. It's surprisingly durable, I bought it years ago, and they still have it and use it. (Although they're kind of big for it- it still holds them, but doesn't go as fast.)

The Wave Cruiser was the highlight of the summer for the kids. The controls were easy for the kids to use and the cuuiser itself is very durable. Everyday the kids play with this and it has proven to be the best purchase.

We purchased this wave runner for our 3 1/2 year old grandson. He has had so much fun on it, we also have other children who come to our pool ages 5 to 12 and they all love it..

I purchased this at my 10 year olds request for a birthday present. I was skeptical, but since it was the only thing requested, I bought it. We've had it 4 weeks. What a great pool toy! Kids love it! We have a 22 foot above ground pool, and it works fine. I have bought floats for upwards of $25 dollars, so for the cost of the Wave Cruiser you can't go wrong. It seems to be well built and sturdy. I wouldn't hesitate to get on it. Takes 8 "D" batteries that are in a water tight case. It will tip over as will any pool float when the rider gets rowdy, but that seems to be part of the fun for the kids. Overall great gift idea.

It's been a definite hit in my pool this summer. The wave runner glides smoothly over the water, but at a slow, steady speed. The kids love the idea of driving on the water, but it's sometimes hard to steer in a certain direction.The kids don't seem to mind that too much. Kids should be encouraged to get on the waverunner from the stairs of the pool. My nephew gave us quite a scare when he tried getting on from the side of the pool and the waverunner tilted over. He barely missed hitting his head on the side of the pool, so as with any floation device, use some vigilance.
