Editorial Review

Disney has always been masterful at two key initiatives: producing memorable children’s entertainment and marketing that same entertainment with overwhelming force. In this promotional board game, players attempt to move a family around a Disney theme park, stopping at various points along the way including Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Frontierland, and the Country Bears. Mickey, Donald, Peter Pan, Snow White, the Lion King characters, and various other familiar characters make appearances. As a game, it may deepen a child’s love for their Disney brand friends or simply reinforce the feelings that child already has. The game is also a bit complex and may be too tricky for younger children although if they play on a team with older kids or adults, they should be fine. Parents considering this game should be prepared to answer the question "when can we go to a REAL Disney park?" --Charlie Williams

We ordered this game for our kids for Christmas. Both kids have been to Disney multiple times and we are planning another trip for January, so we thought they would enjoy playing this game. They love it and so do we. We have played numerous times - the kids (8 and 4 years old) love seeing the familiar attractions and talking about our next trip. As far as the game goes, it is fairly easy to understand and easy for our 4 year old to play. We are pleased with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this game to friends.
Great for Disney Lovers ... But make sure they're old enough! - Reviewed on 2008-12-28

I knew my daughter was well under the recommended age for this product but she loves Disneyland so I thought this would be a nice gift to play as a family. The board is beautiful which makes things fun. The problem mostly is that my daughter is too young for this game. She gets the "Attraction" cards and doesn't want to go there, she wants to go where SHE wants to on the board. In a couple of years this will probably be one of her favorite games. I would recommend this game to families who enjoy Disneyland/Disneyworld and who have children within the recommended age range.

Got this when my son was 6 and daughter was 4. My son enjoyed it right off the bat and my daughter started off playing it with a partner. This has been a regular game that we continue to enjoy playing together now that they are 8 and 6 years old and have now been to WDW. There are cards with nice descriptions of each of the attractions (my son has his favorite cards memorized). The Mickey and Donald in the game are a sturdy metal. The autograph cards could be a little sturdier (ours have become bent with lots of use). The little stand up figures of some of the attractions is a nice feature but sometimes get in the way while playing.
This is a great game and is a family favorite for us.

Disney Magic Kingdom Game

My family and I went to Walt Disney World in October. It was the first time for my 5 kids. I bought this game for Christmas for them as a nice reminder to the great time we had and to look forward to the next time.

This game is a huge hit. It personally is my favorite and is the game most requested by my four oldest ages 9,8,6, and 3 for game night.

Every time we play it we share our memories and usually end up laughing so hard at the end of the game as we all race to get out of the park. Really, a lot of fun.
