Editorial Reviews and Product Descriptions
Product Description
The Apple Mouse is available as a kit for purchase to complement your Apple system. It can be used with all USB-equipped Apple Macs. The Apple Mouse has no rollers or tracking mechanisms to wear out or clog, and no mouse balls to fish out and clean. Besides all that, there's no distinguishable mouse button. Instead, the entire Apple Mouse is in effect a super-sensitive button - the body pivots up and down to actuate the click mechanism. The elliptical shape equally accommodates right and left-handed users, and its glass-smooth surface makes it a joy to use. The Apple Mouse uniquely combines simplicity, elegance and precision to deliver a superior mouse experience. It's ideal when working with applications like Photoshop or Illustrator, which require precision cursor movement. It's equally adept on most any surface and maintains accuracy even during rapid movement.

Stylish! Trendy! Hip! ...Paperweight - Reviewed on 2008-03-31
I am an Apple fan who recommends most of their products to friends and family, but I think they put way too much emphasis on the ascetics for this gorgeous piece of crap.
PROS:
Totally mod, Innovative, Vogue, Trendsetting, Flashy, Elegant, Sophisticated, Suave.
If it were a car, it would be incredibly aerodynamic!
CONS:
The no-button-pivot-point is easy to accidentally click, especially if you have something on your desk that you might bump it into, e.g. eMac, because bumping even the side of the mouse will click it. It's basically one big clumpy button .
No right click button is a step backwards. Having to click while holding control should not be necessary, and I get a little sad every time I have to do it. Is this 80's?!
Everyone has been dragging something, when their mouse is nearing an object (emac, keyboard, ect) on their desk, well, in the less cool, non-innovative days you could simply hold down your left click button, pick up your mouse, and continue dragging, not losing your spot. This problem is probably pops up the most while using Photoshop and you're lassoing something and are running out of actual desk space with your mouse and you have to re lasso, which is why you decide to write a review on Amazon. With the new super shiny Apple mouse, there is no button to hold down, you have to squeeze the sides and try to make it THINK that it is still on your desk. And I'm pretty sure it CAN think, seeing as it's so cutting edge.
This sure was therapeutic!
You would be better off buying a USB optical mouse with a left and right click, even though you won't be able to hang with the in-crowd.
