The Guide Gear Denim Jacket Vest is very nice - the company's service was good and very prompt - I would definately buy from them again

We have bought several in all sizes. Very satisfied with good quality denim (very blue) and great price.

This product was sized to fit midgets........my last order after several attempts to get one that would fit, was a 3XL.........It was still too small and I usually wear an XL in everything. I told Sportmans Guide about the size charts they have but it is doubtful they fixed it. I returned to article to them for credit and they say they processed the credit. I have yet to received the credit to my account though and this has been 4-5 weeks ago..........Never again!

I've been looking for years for a cool denim vest to wear and put some band patches on. I finally did what should have been obvious from the start: I looked on the web. This was the first one I saw, and the ridiculously good price convinced me to buy it the same day I found it. I ordered it in medium, and perhaps my only complaint would be that it is a bit large for me. A small might fit better for a person like me (almost all the clothes I wear are in average or medium sizes), though unfortunately it seems a small isn't available here right now. Thus the vest was somewhat bulky feeling at times and not quite as "stylin" as I might hope for. However, this small (no reverse pun intended) problem has really been all but forgotten for me, and I wear this vest as proudly and joyfully as I wear my other denim jackets. I sewed a few death metal and thrash metal patches on it and I think it looks absolutely killer. The vest is well made and obviously aimed at outdoor use. Speaking of outdoor use, I ordered this vest about two weeks before Ozzfest came near my town, and the delivery was quick enough that I got it soon enough to sew my patches on it and wear it awesomely to the 'fest. I wouldn't want to wear anything else to such an event (well, except sunscreen... oops). Basically, it's a great, rugged vest (coming from an outdoor supply place, you see) that's also cool enough to wear if you've been looking for a neat denim vest to wear at school, at play, in the car or just around the house!

In the product picture it shows a denim vest that looks somewhat faded (like prewashed denim) but when I received the product it was brand new denim that I had to throw in the wash with bleach to get the faded look. If you want it to look like new denim then this is for you, if you're expecting it to look like the picture then be prepared to do some washing before wearing.
