Excellent, but unreliable - Reviewed on 2005-09-08

I've had an Ipod for nearly two years now, and have been quite satisfied so far. The ipod is convenient, and is quite easy to use. The hard drive is easily able to hold all of my music, and has been great for travel and studying.
However, shortly after my first year of ownership, I began to experience problems which eventually caused teh ipod to stop functioning. Fortunately I had an extended waranty, an was able to get a repair. From what I've heard, this has been a major problem with ipods, which is the reason I have given the product a 3 star rating. There is no excuse for a product this expensive to be so unreliable.
Still, the ipod is a great product when working. I'm certainly glad that I bought it, but I am certain that I would think differently if I didn't have the warrenty. So if you are considering an ipod, I would recommend it provided you get an extended service plan.
