Fine for the short haul - Reviewed on 2008-11-30

While you can't beat these Diablo blades for cross cuts and short rips, if you plan on any long or repetitive ripping, LOOK ELSEWHERE. Specifically, as with all thin kerf blades I've tried, there is no escaping the warp and wander once it heats up. The only solution for long ripping duty is a heavy, WIDE blade. I've tried half a dozen brands, and regardless of the cute little heat dissapation cuts and grooves built in, they all fail the warp test. However, for the short haul, particularly circular saw use, vs. the table saw, it's a good cutting blade.

I just purchased this through amazon.com as part of buying a Milwaukee Cicular saw. The blade is quiet and cuts with such precision, I was able to shave 1/32 off of OSB! The design is unique with laser cut lines and shapes which apparently reduce vibration. I plan on buying more Freud blades. I like the thin kerf! Jim Thomson, Waterford, NY

Very good blade - Reviewed on 2008-11-11

While this blade doesn't live up to my Festool saw & blades, it is more than adequate for small, quick projects such as children's toys. I got it so I could work faster/quicker with my 7 1/4" circular saw. It's a great addition to my shop.

Regardless of the size, these Diablo saw blades are tough and long lasting, I have purchased sizes from 4.5 to 7.25 and am very happy.

I have been using this blade in my Ryobi 10" compound mitre saw for almost 3 years. It is used hundred of times per month and it's still as sharp as the day I bought it. It's thin enough that the saw doesn't struggle to start, and tough enough that it doesn't deflect too much when trying to do an angled miter cut. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quality blade at a decent price.

I have also used this blade in my table saw (switched back and forth because I'm too cheap) and it works just as well in the table saw.
