The Simply Calphalon Nonstick Anodized line of cookware is an excellent alternative for those who prefer cooking on a nonstick surface and who desire Calphalon quality at a budget price. This 8-piece cookware set offers almost everything a cook needs to kick off a lifetime of meals. The set includes 8-inch and 10-inch omelet pans, 1-quart and 2-quart covered saucepans, and a 6-quart covered stockpot.

Made of durable hard-anodized aluminum of uniform thickness, these pans are excellent conductors of heat and cook food quickly and evenly. Their double-coated nonstick interiors prevent food from sticking and make cleanup easier. The pans have oval stainless-steel handles with a blasted satin finish that are comfortable to grip and are held in place by sturdy stainless-steel rivets. Also made of brushed stainless steel, the lids are domed to keep moisture in during cooking. This cookware is oven-safe up to 375 degrees F so you don’t have to dirty several pans to make one dish. Non-stick Surface Not Durable - Reviewed on 2008-05-14

I was dissapointed with this product. I bought this set in 2002 because of the reasonable price and Calphalon name, and I was initially pleased. Despite using only nylon or wood utensils and a Dobie pad as recommended, the nonstick surface began to wear off after only about 3 years on the 10" omelet pan. I wish I had kept the receipt for the warranty!

We have the professional set at home, and I bought the Simply Calphalon for our Apartment in NY. It is excellent quality for the price, and the non stick surface works flawlessly.

That said, do not expect the heft / feel of the professional set.

Calphalon a name that brings to mind heavy duty pans and heavy price tags. Well I sprung for these pans and cannot be more delighted. The pans do not stick at all, I can go from stove to oven with no worries. The pans are heavy also they are not something that is going to let food burns in an instant I get consistant heating in the whole pan. The lids are something to be desired as you they are not glass and you cannot see through them, but oh well. This is a great set and worth every single dollar!

If you have a gas stove, buy the cleaner that Calphalon recommends it will keep you pans looking new!
