I have had this CD for years now, but it never gets old to me. This is one of the only CDs that I can honestly say I love from the first to last song. The music is amazing, and the lyrics are just as great. A Song For A Broken Heart is one of my favorite songs ever, and I can listen to it over and over again. It is really hard for me to narrow it down, so I will just say that every other song on this album is great.

I loved this CD so much that this is my second one!!! A must for any hardcore music go-er!!! I first heard these guys after moving to California...then finding out they lived in the same town as I only add more interest in the group. Buy it and listen to 'em, believe me, you'll love 'em!!!

Perfect if you're the ages of 14-16 or very easily impressed other than that "pretty wack".
The withered EP recordings were more raw and powerful.
something about this album is just too watered down.
The Lyrics on Lipgloss and letdown are so stupid I cant help but think they're about tripping someone.

ASL is like the hardcore haters hardcore. They're not really heavy (no metalcore growls or pointless breakdows), but the torment and melody in the lead singers voice is enough to get the message across like a sledgehammer. Some people complain because there's TOO much singing (they're stupid, i know), but really, isn't it singing that makes music what it is? ASL is up there w/ bands like (new) underoath, emery, a thorn for every heart and of course, thursday (the greatest hxc band ever. period.). If you want a well produced piece of emocore, and are getting sick of wearing your copies of "they're only chasing safety" and "war all the time" down, get "and don't forget to breathe". It's just too bad there new album sucks balls.

Honestly, at first I didn't really like this album except for "Lipgloss and Letdown" and "A Song For A Broken Heart" but the more I listened the more I fell in love. But a warning for any one about to buy this album:This is not Barry Mantilow. This is hardcore, in your face, jet-packed, emotion-filled, high-quality SCREAMO!!! So if your into Screamo (esp. bands such as The Used, Hawthorne Heights, Underoath, My Personal Arsenal) then give this album a listen, it might take some time but you'll end up falling in love. :)

Top 3 Screamo Albums
1.The Used "THE USED"
2.Underoath "THEY'RE ONLY CHASING SAFETY"
3.A Static Lullaby "...AND DON'T FORGET TO BREATHE"
