Editorial Reviews and Product Descriptions
Album Description
Warp 11's sophomore release "Red Alert" demonstrates the evolution the band made in the two years since "Suck My Spock", from sci-fi garage punks into interstellar rock gods. The first single from "Red Alert", "Everything I Do (I Do With William Shatner)" took off in 2003 to widespread media praise and college and alternative rock radio airplay.

Warp 11 Rox My Spock - Reviewed on 2007-08-11
Red Alert is the album that made Warp 11 a household name to Star Trek fans all over the world. They were definitely beginning to find a lot of fame, from being interviewed more by radio stations and even appearing in and performing two songs on the Trek documentary Trekkies 2. What makes this album so great is the songs that make you think about after it is over. The album has a lot of songs that are like that, you just can't get them out of your head. The five songs that do that the most are; "Red Alert", "Everything I Do (I Do With William Shatner)", "Old Country Doctor", "Rand" and "Suds Me Up Sulu".
"Red Alert" has great music and is just fun. It has what you want in a Rock song, very memorable and catchy (my two favorite words) music that gets inside your head once you hear it. The vocals match the song perfectly. You have to hear it to understand, but once you do, you will agree that this is a song that you will be tapping you finger to at just thought while driving in your car.
"Everything I Do (I Do With William Shanter" is Warp 11's biggest hit to date. I can totally relate to this song with the line "I don't want to go to work, just want to hang with Captain Kirk, and if I had my way I'd make it so". What Trekkie can't relate to that?! That, in those few words, define a Trekkie on a hard work day. Wouldn't we all like to just stay at home and watch Star Trek?! This song was also featured on the Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner.
What makes "Old Country Doctor" so great is that the chorus is easy to remember and sing. The song does a great job at describing McCoy, our favorite country doctor. Even if you don't like country music, this isn't so country that you can't get joy out of hearing it.
The same can be said about the song "Rand". Excellent chorus that is once again fun to sing along with. The song is a love story about how much we love Rand, even though she had a thing for Kirk, we still loved her. Too bad she only lasted six episodes, which is stated in the song.
"Suds Me Up Sulu" is definitely the funniest track of the album, even Karl can't singing straight and you can hear a laugh in his voice. It's funny and has become even more true recently after George Takei came out of the closet, which makes the song even more enjoyable.
Every song listed above are songs that you immediately remember just by the mentioning of the name. Defintely an album to buy
An Excellent Band - Reviewed on 2004-12-27

Somewhere between Green Day and Frank Zappa, Warp 11 shows true talent and a great sense of humor. Not since The Who's "Tommy", Rush's "2112", or Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" have I felt compelled to listen to an entire album from start to finish.
No member of this band will likely be voted anything 'of the year', but together they create music that makes you want to dance, shout, laugh, bang your head, sing along, and mosh in your Star Trek uniform, all at the same time.
