I have boycotted all Sony products in my home since the release of the PS3. These are the only exception. I have been using Sony 700MB CD-R's since I started burning and I am on my second 50 disc spindle. I buy them from Target. I have 2 failures. They burn as I would expect them to. Flawless.
Couldn't understand why so many neg reviews on this one - Reviewed on 2008-10-15

I bought two spindles of SONY CDR from staples yesterday, and burned more than 15 music CDs already. It turned out very good in qulity, very reliable, and Nero7 never reported any errors. Don't know why people gave this one so low a rating. Comparing with Philips CDR I had before which has a bad disk about every 1 out of 10, SONY disc is much better.

The low rating on this one almost made me turn away from it until I saw the pretty high rating from staples on the same product. I seldomly wrote reviews, but think I should at least write one for this so future buyers won't be misguided so much.
AWESOME CD-R's. - Reviewed on 2008-09-03

Awesome CD-R's. Never had one fail on me. Always reliable. I personally won't buy any other brand.
Pretty worthless... - Reviewed on 2008-06-25

After 5 out of 6 burns resulted in errors, I thought that something might be amiss. Sure enough, there was: these discs are worthless. I've never seen anything like this really, especially from a well known electronics company like Sony. Steer way clear.

I've used about 50 cd's out of my spindle. No problems, very smooth and clear. I use my CD-R to make back-up music CD's to play in my car and so far everything is perfect. I've used other brands this one is the best so far. I occasionally sell this product online; I wouldn't sell something that would cause more work, trying to sell, than the worth.
