This is good fishing magazine if you have never read foreign. The major problem is the emphasis on only couple fish species.What about all other fish? After all the name is not bass or walleye fishing only.

I read just about everything I can get my hands on and InFisherman is easily the best freshwater multispecies magazine out there. Especially if you tend to fish the Midwest. Heavy on content and light on fluff... lots of good illustrations.

Their video products are also very good. One of the best bargins around is to purchase the complete TV season. Its about 5 hours of video for around 30 bucks.

In-Fisherman is the most informative fishing magazine out on the market. It contains many indepth articles on a broad range of species. This magazine has helped me develop my fishing techniques and broaden my knowledge on many subjects. I definately recommend In-Fisherman for the experienced and beginner fishermen who wish to increase their knowledge on fishing.

Can't say I've read this magazine, but, I picked one up as a gift for a family member, and, was quite surpised as to how thin the magazine is. Is there enough articles in there? Do the articles have enough content? I admit that the typical "thicker" magazine has a lot of advertising, hence the thickness, but, I'm willing to bet, there is just as much advertising in the thin In-Fisherman magazine. I guess I won't worry too much...I'm not the one that will be trying to get something out of it, besides the purpose of a "gift" for Christmas. It was on the wish list, so I guess I must.
