No handle rotation or gyrations are necessary to open the multi-plier -- just a flick of the wrist slides the plier jaws into the locked and ready position. The locking system is safe and easy to use with components locking up against a solid bar of steel, rather than a spring. It also features independent tool rotation, allowing access to components you want without other tools following it out. Other highlights include superior wire cutters, and a secure ergonomic grip. The Urban Legend's replaceable tungsten carbide wire cutter inserts are much harder than any stainless steel, and feature the ability to cut through #2 hard carbon steel fishhooks, 1/16-inch piano wire, and 278-pound stainless steel offshore fishing leader. In the event of damage, the triangular cutter inserts can be rotated to a new edge with a Torx head wrench. Other tools featured in the multi-plier include a knife blade, scissors, Phillips-head screwdriver, small, medium, and large flat head screwdrivers, bottle opener, and tweezers.
