Not until recently did I start subscription of this magazine on global airline scene after being a loyal readers for years. *Airliner World* is an UK magazine which means it doesn't get to the American newstands at least a couple weeks after its date of issue every month. Subscription will ensure the prompt arrival.

*Airliner World* is by far the most comprehensive, detailed, well-written magazine in this expertise. Every issue starts with the a news section breaking down into continents briefs on the latest happenings of commercial airlines: newly-launched services, deliveries of aircrafts, transfer of aircraft, phasing out of fleet, safety concerns, and more. Cover stories range from airlines history, a major hub, airport layouts, and pilot logs and all of which illustrated with pictures. A typical format of this monthly magazine (taken from the March 2003 issue):

This magazine is a total package. Newstand price is US$8.75. The issue date is the 12th of every month but usually the magazine is not available at the bookstore until the 7th of the following month. Listed in the magazines every month is a detailed account on the "whereabouts" of aircrafts, the registration number and the such. It also provides venues to video tapes and aircraft models ordering. 4.0 stars.
