if you love the cky band, and dont have this cd, BUY IT NOW!!! this cd came out in 2002 and is the best cd by cky yet. "escape from hellview" is a very good song and is my favorite song by cky. the songs "attached at the hip" and "plastic plan" were featured in the bam margera skate movie "cky3"

I have a confession to make: for awhile I felt prejudiced against this band and refused to hear their music based on Jess' (cKy's drummer) relation to Bam Margera, whom I utterly loathed (I've changed my view recently--but I digress).
Then one day I heard "96 Quite Bitter Beings," from Vol.1. Never had I ever heard such a unique brand of hard rock blended with heavy metal, and I had to pick up an album immediately. I picked up IDR. How wrong I was in my initial prejudice--this band is incredible.
With every listen this album gets better. It is much like watching your favorite movie over and over again, in that you will discover something new each time.

The most surprising aspect of this album is that its lyrics are highly philosophical. For instance, "Plastic Plan" alerts the listener to the current artistic struggles many musicians face within their industry, as they are sometimes forced to alter their visions and directions according to the desires of their label. "Inhuman Creation Station" seems to be about the way all societies, historically, have shaped their people to fit into a certain mold, which they aren't encouraged to break from, and aren't taught to consider objectively. Those who aren't shaped completely have "warped" minds. Those are just two great examples of what can be found on this album. Each track is very deep in its own way, and they all fit together perfectly to form IDR.

I suggest you pick this album up without hesitation. You will not regret it.

They get 1 star from me for stealing this album's name from a Meshuggah album.

american girl's review is that of a teenage moron who has yet to experience a lot in life. she obviously likes boys that look like girls in the case of HIM...which probably means that she is a lesbian. plus she is from ketucky which means her opinion doesnt matter. screw her.
