Fun for little ones - must have for Thomas fans - Reviewed on 2008-03-31

My 2 1/2 year old little boy is not a fan of the Thomas tv shows, but he does play with Thomas trains, and he loves this My First LeapPad book. After playing with it only a couple of times he's learned all of the engine names, and it's helped him with his colors. Because of the variety of skills, games available with this book, he'll probably be playing with it easily for another year or two. His absolute favorite is the Wiggles My First LeapPad book. I highly recommend that one, too.

My 2yr old son really loves trains, so this was a no-brainer for his new leapad this Christmas. He really loves it but he gets frustrated over the use of the pen. He has had the finger touch "little touch leapad" to practice with, and he hasn't figured out that he has to touch objects with the pen and not his finger yet. This will come in time and in no way reflects on the product. I think that it lacks a little bit of variety in comparison with the book that came with the leapad. I can see him getting bored after ahwhile.
Overall, a great purchase for anyone whose child loves trains, planes, and automobiles or is a Thomas Fan.
