Jamie Cullum is amazing. He is so talented. I love the older music from the 40's and so on. He has a wonderful way of making it his and making it new. Of course there are some new songs on this cd, and they are equally great. I didn't even know that this cd existed until it was recommended to me on Amazon. I love adding this to my Jamie Cullum collection.

I saw Jamie Cullum on a PBS special and was amazed by this young "20 something" man whom just captivated the audience with his class and hip style. Jamie takes "jazz, blues" to a new level, writing fresh new material showing that no style of music becomes extinct. Truly enjoyable!
Definitely his early work - Reviewed on 2007-05-14

The CD overall is alright. It doesn't capture his full potential.

I actually heard Jamie in person this past summer at the Montreal International Jazz Festival. Until then I must confess I was unfamiliar with his work. Jamie is a real talent, polished performer, with incredible energy and pianistic fluidity. This CD is an excellent entree to his style
