A Totally Awesome Jango Fett - Reviewed on 2003-01-31

Let's face it, Jango was the coolest character in Episode II (except for Yoda), and Hasbro's line of action figures has made him nothing but even cooler. The Electronic Jango was nothing but a surprise, especially with his 12" brother figure Jango Fett out, but hasbro actually released a plastic one.
Even though it was designed for play with the Electronic 12" Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jango can be played with by itself. The helmet can be removed to reveal the battle-scarred face of actor Temaura Morrison. Fett also features his duel blasters, which can be holstered, and a grappling hook. Two buttons can be located on the back of the jetpack for sound effects and phrases. There is also a third button, used for firing his long range missile. Jango can also be set to fighting mode for punching sound effects when tilted.
Final analysis: A pretty cool figure with good articulation, fantastic detail, and perfect sound effects.
(As a side note, how educational can this figure be? Unless you are trainig to become a bounty-hunter, I don't see any educational value in this figure.)

A MUST BUY FOR COLLECTORS! NICE DESIGN! LOOKS VERY GOOD ON THE SHELF AS A MAJOR STAR WARS COLLECTOR PIECE. VERY POSABLE FOR AN ELECTRONIC TYPE OF FIGURE. HAS A HELMET THAT GOES ON/OFF VERY EASILY. STANDS UP EASILY FOR DISPLAY. I LOVE THE JET PACK VISUAL AND NOISE EFFECT AND THE BLASTER NOISE EFFECT. FIGURE HAS FIGHTING SOUNDS IF YOU SHAKE IT. HAS SWITCH TO ALLOW FOR SOUND EFFECT OPTIONS. HOWEVER, THE VOICE OF THIS TOY REALLY BUGS ME. JANGO'S VOICE SOUNDS LIKE SOME CHEASY CAR SALESMAN. WOULD BE BETTER TO ALMOST NOT HAVE THE VOICE (ADD MORE SOUND EFFECTS). "YOU WON'T DEFEAT ME" PHRASES NOT BELIEVABLE (DON'T BELIEVE HE SAID THAT IN THE MOVIE). STILL I'D RATE THIS FIGURE AS VERY GOOD (ALMOST BETTER THAN 12" ANIKIN). DESIGN CREW AT HASBRO SHOULD BE PROUD OF THIS TOY (EXCEPT WORK ON THE VOICE).
