I really like these cloths, they are fast to use in the morning. My only suggestion is that I cut in half to get more from package. It is really not necessary to have so big.

I've tried different brands including Ponds, St. Ives, Olay Daily Facials, Dove Pillows and Neutrogena and I love this the best. I'm 44 and my skin is extremely dry, so much so that creams for extremely dry skin will still leave my skin flaking and red, so you can just imagine what it's like when I wash my face. But the Olay Total Effects cloths leaves my skin smooth, soft, clean and much less irritated. Try it, you can go to the Olay Total Effect website and they will send you a free sample of the cloths. If you like it, order it here at Amazon. Believe me I've checked everywhere including Drugstore.com, Target, Walgreens & Rite Aid and Amazon sells it for almost half the price.

I've been using these cleasning cloths along with Olay's Total Effects Night Firming Cream for Face and Neck and have been getting very nice results. These cloths lather up nicely and gently clean away what the day leaves behind on our faces. It's great for removing make-up, and doesn't leave a tight dry feeling like most soaps do.

The cloths are two sided. One side is textured and is great for exfoliating. The other side is smooth and used for rinsing,The cloth makes quite a bit of lather though, so use it up, rinse the cloth, and then rinse your skin with it.

I like that these are NOT "pre-moistened". The pre-moistened ones always seemed to dry up and lose the effectiveness before I use them all. With these, just wet, lather, then throw away.

A great buy, doing double duty they moisturize as they clean.
And for anyone trying to defy the effects of aging, one thing that really helps is to keep the mosituring creams flowing!

Highly recommended for clean, soft skin....Laurie

I can't speak for the anti-aging effect because I often forget to use these in the shower. But when I do use them, they are really really nice. My skin is left soft, smooth and dewy. They are better than a washcloth, not as rough. The cleanser in them is more than adequate and does not smell offensive. I have also never had an adverse reaction in the year that I have been using them.

I gave 4 stars because I think they are too expensive. They should either drop the price to about 4-5 dollars or double the amount of cleansing pads included.

But - they are durable and have enough cleanser in them that they can be cut in half with no obvious change in the final result. (It is the same concept as a Bounty paper towel. I am constantly ripping them in half. They made select-a-size but they charge a little more for it. I can rip one in half for free.)

I have also hung whole cloths to dry in the shower after thoroughly rinsing them. They can easily be used a second time with the cleanser of your choice. (I don't suggest a reuse of half of a cloth.) My cleanser of choice is Estee' Lauder Splash Away. Literally, you need no more than a healthy pea sized portion - think of a fat pea - (lol) of that cleanser. Work up the lather in your hands or on your now ecologically friendly and economically merciful Olay cleansing cloth and enjoy. One tube of it will last a full year, unless you insist on using a ton of it at a time.

I imagine that one of the Olay cleansers would closely math the formulation with which they infused these cloths.

BUT -- something I learned about the anti-aging product revolution...this is common sense of course but....To my knowlege, there is no product billed as an anti-aging product that is a cleanser that gets immediately rinsed off that could ever have any effect. Such cleansers are a waste of money. I would instead take that money and find the cleanser that you Looooovvveee. One that smells exactly the way you want and that gently cleans and leaves your face with the texture that you want. What you put on your face after that is up to you.
PS - This also applies to shampoo. I mean, how long does the stuff stay in your hair?. I say use both opportunities for an aromatherapy session enjoying the smell and feel of the lather of the products. Hey, it's instant gratification at least. Everything else you have to wait for time to pass before you find out that the product was fabulous or was crap.

This is a very nice product. I am now going to try one of the Regenerist products and I am crossing my fingers. Olay has also introduced pre-wetted cleansing cloths. I haven't tried them. I am waiting for my sample to arrive. Go to the website for samples of the products.
