I bought this to open the garage from my motorcycle. It has been able to withstand the weather and the vibration from the motorcycle. Great product.

After a year of use, this little remote is still working great. I use it to open my garage door from inside the house, which is about 50 feet away. It is attached to my motorcycle keys so that when I come home, I simply reach down to push a button and I'm in. It's gotten slightly wet a couple times with no problems, though I take it off the ring when its downpouring.

Be sure to get the right remote for the right opener... the older remotes don't work with the newer openers and vice versa. Calling Chamberlain if you're not sure would help, they are very polite and helpful.

We learned after receiving this item that it is not compatible with new Chamberlain openers. At least the one we received is not. We have sent a note to Ace Hardware, who sold ours, to see if an updated remote is available in the same style.

Until the description text is updated to reflect compatibility requirements for the unit you will receive, I recommend not ordering unless you get an explicit assurance from the seller. Provide the model number of your opener and insist they check the remote that will be shipped.

This is the easiest remote I've ever used. It can operate three
different items even house lights. It has a revolving code so no one can ever bypass your system again.
