Amazon.com Review

If you're used to a standard 16-ounce claw hammer, this lightweight titanium hammer from Stilletto will make you feel like Popeye after he's had his can of spinach. This beauty has a graceful curve in its hickory handle that's ergonomically better for swinging--a small modification that makes a gigantic difference. It weighs only 14 ounces, but it drives like the big boys. We liked the magnetized nail groove, because it helps prevent hitting fingernails. The manufacturer says this is the world's first titanium-head hammer, and if that's true, there are sure to be copycats. The only word of caution: titanium has a million merits, but be aware that it will spark if chipped. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste

We bought this as a gift to a friend of ours who is helping us build a house. My husband has a steel Stiletto and our friend was impressed so we bought him a titanium Stiletto. He is very happy with it and has bragged to his friends about it. Price and performance is excellant

I was skeptical that this light weight would do the job but it does and does it well. Liked it so well I bought the finishing hammer.

I have been a carpenter for 10 years and I wish I bought this hammer a long time ago. Although it is light weight, the hatchet like handle delivers more power than a 22 oz. framing hammer, plus it's easier on your swinging arm. Great product!

This is a great product. Really saves the wrist and elbow. I highly recommend it.
Shoulder Saver - Reviewed on 2007-12-24

After many years of framing homes for Habitat for Humanity, my right shoulder started to give me chronic problems. I'd take a month off and then come back to have the same problem arise. I must admit that were several fellow volunteers who had Stiletto hammers and kidded them about their expense hammers. As a last resort I borrowed one of their Stiletto hammers and within two weeks my problem was resolved. So I bought one.
