This Dewalt flashlight has a 90-degree pivoting head that lets you fully illuminate the scene in front of you -- then quickly flash to the project beside you for optimal versatility. Its comfortable grip won't slip out of greasy fingers as you pivot horizontally or vertically to illuminate dark corners or deep recesses. Also, the battery pack acts as a stable, self-standing base for the flashlight -- whether it's aimed up, down, or sideways -- to maintain a strong ballast without wobbling off course while you hammer nearby. A spare bulb inside the lens housing means you'll always have a working light.

The XR PACK battery (sold separately) generates up to three hours of run time for extended jobs. Powered by either the DW9091 or the DW9094 DeWalt battery packs (also sold separately), the light spreads a wide-angle beam for optimal lighting over a general area with no dark spots, and narrows for spot beaming distant objects and detail work. I purchased this to be a back-up to my main flashlight and now find that I use it just as much as my other one and like the fact that it uses the same battery system as my drill.Good buy.

Everything is great about the flashlight. I had one already but wanted an extra one. It works well. The only thing was they tell you that you can store an extra bulb under the head but they don't give you one. For the price I was expecting a spare bulb with it.

I already had the Dewalt 14.4 drill with two batteries. If you have the drill you needthis light. Run time is over two hours and puts out alot of light.

I got this as a Christmas gift from my wife. I already had a Dewalt 14.4 Drill/Driver, circular saw and work site radio. The flashlight is very bright and with the battery (not included) it is bottom heavy and stays put very well. This swivel head makes it great when you need to aim it. All in all a great addition to my other Dewalt tools.

It's sturdy, very bright light, good swivel head (but takes a few moments to figure out how to turn the head), battery lasts a long time, very reasonable price, and is perfect if you own any DeWalt 14.4 volt cordless tools. Even if you didn't, it would almost pay to buy this with a battery and charger!
