I bought this CD because I just LOVE Dan Fogelberg--and was missing hearing his songs.

This collection was a excellent choice for me--because it had all the songs that I wanted to hear....to bring back all of those great memories...and make me sort of smile.

The CD itself was in excellent condition..as was the case,,,perfect !!

Shipping was on time..and I felt very inexpensive.

I would suggestit to all.

What a beautiful album...simply his best work; the best song is LONGER (precious and enchanted); I love the balads LEADER OF THE BAND (delicious) and RUN FOR THE ROSES (nostalgic); the soft-rock numbers MISSING YOU (what a big song!!) and THE POWER OF GOLD are incredible, too!!; I also like PART OF THE PLAN and HARD TO SAY (very sensitive)...If you like the acoustic music and the master of ballads, you have to buy this incredible cd!!

He was the best singer bar none... from LONGER to POWER OF GOLD.. His songs touch us so deeply that sometimes we tend to forget that he is now gone. He had one of the greatest voices ever in the industry. There is not one bad song on this CD... Buy the disc and you will not regret it.

I happened to know one of the finest American songwriters through 1984 hit LANGUAGE OF LOVE. This greatest hits collection, however, was originally released in 1982. Yet amazing crisp pop song MISSING YOU is exactly what I am satisfied with on this album. LONGER was used for TV English conversaion program during mid 80s as a way to learn English though singing.(That program also introduced great pop songs such as LIONEL RICHIE & DIANA ROSS duet ENDLESS LOVE). HARD TO SAY and MAKE LOVE STAY are similarly styled great ballads. LEADER OF THE BAND just makes 70s pop fans who also love early Eagles, Jackson Browns, Seal & Crofts fans. It is mostly of soft pop but an excellent collection indeed!

Dan Fogelberg's music put down a foundation of poetry sung to open one's mind and heart. He was a brilliant performer. I am honored that this man had his music out in my generation and I am deeply saddened that his life was taken away by cancer. This CD is a treasured keepsake to his memory.
