Very nice sounds of just the ocean and beach. Four different tracks are included and they do have different moods. A very relaxing peaceful CD.

I was looking for something to help me get to sleep. I had tried others but often found music added that was distracting. This is really beautiful and I use it for just relaxing too. There are a few seagulls and seal sounds but it makes it all the more natural and I am able to visualize myself seaside.

That's right. I use this to create white noise while my baby sleeps. It works very well - almost too well, as I find myself struggling to stay awake when it's on! LOL But, it's soothing, and perfect for helping my kiddos tune out the world and take a nap. (We used this with our older children, too.)

Unfortunately, my kids have not inherited my ability to fall asleep, literally, 5 seconds after my head hits a pillow. Their minds continue to race, and, my oldest son in particular has some budding anxiety issues over typical school/kid stuff. They have many treasured memories of the beach, so I thought sounds of waves might help.

At first I looked at the wave machines, but those recycle the sound loop every 10 seconds or so and I found them horrifying, not relaxing. Then I decided to get this CD, and it has been perfect, lulling my oldest to sleep in less than 20 minutes (sometimes it took him over an hour to fall asleep). It is a beautiful, hypnotic CD of unaccompanied (no music) waves that is bound to transport you to your favorite beach.
